Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Protein Shake

Oats have been around for thousands of years and recorded as far back at 2000 B.C. in Egypt. But it is Scotland that has made this simple breakfast food famous as they celebrate it every year at the World Porridge Making Championship in the village of Carrbridge. Apparently, the Scottish are more than huge fans of this fiber dense cooked oat.

I’m a huge fan of morning smoothies, especially this one. Packed with nature’s goodness like, almond milk and almond butter, bananas, strawberries, and chia seeds, this combination of super foods creates a perfect way to add a large selection of nutritional foods you wouldn’t usually eat in one meal otherwise.

Strawberry Oatmeal Protein Boost Yum
This smoothie is one of my favorites! It's creamy, bursting with flavor and chalk full of protein. Make it dairy-free or non-dairy free by simply changing a few ingredient.

Recipe Notes

Recipe Notes:

  • Some fruit is sweeter than others so feel free to add a little more honey and adjust the flavor to your liking.
