Dairy-free Kahlua Hot Cocoa is the perfect drink for cold winter days. I am always torn between which nut milk I like best in this recipe. In my opinion, Brazil nut milk or cashew nut milk is the creamiest, while almond milk or coconut milk is also a great choice. Use your favorite milk alternative and a generous pour of Kahlua to create a delicious adult hot cocoa that will warm you from head to toe.

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Remove pan from heat and stir in Kahlua.
  3. Pour into cups and serve immediately.
