  1. Heat the oil in the Instant pot on the Saute setting until hot. Add in the onions and ground beef, sauteing until the onions are soft and the meat is slightly browned. Stir in the chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Turn off the Instant Pot. Add in the black beans, pinto beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and cornstarch, stirring until combined. Secure the Instant Pot with the lid, set the pot to manual, and high pressure for 25 minutes. You will need to do a quick release to release the pressure before unlocking the lid.
  3. Serve chili in individual bowls topped with a squeeze of lime juice, shredded Apple smoked cheddar and cilantro.
Recipe Notes

You can also make the chili in a pot on the stove-top by adjusting cook time accordingly.
